Tesla Audits Chinese Suppliers to Boost Optimus Robot Production

Tesla Inc. dispatched teams to China to audit robotics-component suppliers and place additional orders to accelerate the production of its Optimus humanoid robot. The move triggered a rally among Chinese robotics firms, with the Solactive China Humanoid Robotics Index rising as much as 2.4%.

Several specialized suppliers saw significant share price increases following a report by the 21st Century Business Herald. Actuator manufacturer Ningbo Tuopu Group experienced gains of up to 7%, while sensor manufacturer Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp. and thermal-management supplier Zhejiang Sanhua Intelligent Controls Co. both advanced by more than 4%.
