Tiger Global Leads $20 Million Funding for FORT Robotics

FORT Robotics secured $20 million in new funding from Tiger Global and other investors to scale its physical AI safety platform.

FORT Robotics, a U.S.-based safety platform for physical AI, secured approximately $20 million in new funding commitments from existing investors. Tiger Global led a $10 million financing round with participation from Mark Cuban Companies and committed an additional $10 million to a common equity Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) related to a proposed business combination with Newbury Street II Acquisition Corp.

This latest injection of capital brings the total committed funding for the business combination to over $50 million. The company intends to use these resources to expand its team and operating capacity to meet rising customer demand across the defense, construction, and warehousing sectors.

Company leadership noted that the investment allows the firm to move faster as the adoption of autonomous systems and physical AI accelerates. Tiger Global indicated that the investment reflects a conviction in the company's progress and the necessity of an independent safety layer for the adoption of physical AI.
