Shake Shack Adds Three Ontario Locations Including First Drive-Thru

Shake Shack Canada is expanding its Ontario footprint with three new restaurant locations in Oakville, Burlington, and London. The sites in Oakville, located at Trafalgar Rd. and Dundas St. W., and Burlington, at Dundas and Appleby Line, are scheduled to open later in 2026.

The London location at 3275 Wonderland Rd. S. is expected to open in the first half of 2027. This site will be the first in Ontario to feature a drive-thru and represents the company's furthest move west of the Greater Toronto Area. The London expansion is expected to create approximately 100 jobs.

These additions build upon the company's existing nine Canadian restaurants, eight of which are in Ontario. Billy Richmond, business director of Shake Shack Canada, stated the company aims to reach at least 35 Canadian locations by 2035. Richmond noted that Canadian operations are entirely owned and operated by Canadians, utilizing 100 percent Canadian beef, chicken, dairy, and fries.
