Scalable Capital Launches Agentic Investing for AI Assistants
Scalable Capital allows European investors to connect portfolios to AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude for analysis and trade preparation via the Model Context Protocol.
Digital investment platform Scalable Capital has launched an Agentic Investing service that enables European investors to link their accounts to AI assistants, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok. Utilizing the Model Context Protocol, the service allows users to analyze portfolios, establish savings plans, and prepare trades through AI prompts.
To ensure security, the platform requires users to manually approve all trades and savings plans. The AI assistants are restricted from making payments or withdrawing funds. Scalable Capital noted that the integration utilizes open technology rather than formal partnerships with AI developers.
A research report from Elm Wealth found that while Claude and ChatGPT could predict market directions more accurately than humans in simulated tests, the models often took excessive risks with position sizing. The firm suggested these models risked catastrophic capital loss due to high position sizing combined with inconsistent hit ratios.
