Acer unveiled two new thin-and-light laptops, the Swift Blade 14 and the Swift Air 16, targeting commuters and travelers. The Swift Blade 14 is an ultra-portable 14-inch device weighing 799g, utilizing a chassis constructed from carbon fiber and magnesium-aluminum alloy. It is equipped with up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350, 12GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.
The Swift Air 16 is a larger 16-inch model weighing 1.5kg with an all-aluminum chassis and an optional 2,880 x 1,800 OLED display. Both devices run Windows 11 and utilize Intel Core processors.
Reports on pricing and availability vary. One source states both laptops will start at £999.99. Another source reports that pricing for the Swift Blade 14 is not yet confirmed and that the device will go on sale at the end of 2026, with the 16-inch variant following in early 2027.
