CapsoVision Launches AI Highlights for Capsule Endoscopy Internationally

CapsoVision Inc. announced the international launch of AI Highlights, an artificial intelligence tool for its CapsoCam Plus small bowel capsule endoscopy system. The feature identifies frames containing suspected clinically relevant findings for physician review and integrates with the company's CapsoCloud platform and CapsoView video processing software.

The tool is available in authorized international markets, including the European Union under the Medical Device Regulation. However, the feature has not received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and remains unavailable for sale in the United States.

Johnny Wang, the company's president and CEO, stated that the release of the tool reflects a focus on developing integrated workflow technologies to assist physicians in reviewing capsule endoscopy studies.
