Colorado Gubernatorial Nominee Victor Marx Funds Florida Police Operations

Colorado Republican gubernatorial nominee Victor Marx founded All Things Possible, a ministry that uses private donations to fund law enforcement operations and surveillance equipment. Through its Protecting Children’s Innocence taskforce, the ministry has established memorandums of understanding with several Florida agencies, including the Gainesville police department and the sheriff's offices of Leon and Wakulla counties.

These agreements provide funding for detective salaries, vehicles, and forensic software. In Leon County, the taskforce provided $210,000 for a detective's salary and equipment. The arrangements also grant the ministry a role in staffing and performance evaluations, such as in Wakulla County, where the taskforce collaboratively selects and evaluates a funded detective post.

Harry William Buddy Jericho, a former army intelligence analyst and current campaign manager for Marx, serves as the director of the taskforce and a central figure in its operational efforts. The campaign has faced scrutiny over Marx's claims of leading paramilitary teams in Iraq and Syria and performing exorcisms.

Legal experts and critics have raised concerns regarding the lack of public procurement processes in these partnerships. They argue that allowing private donors to fund public policing creates a risk that outside interests could influence law enforcement priorities.
