Zetwerk Eyes IPO Amid US AI Infrastructure Boom
Zetwerk prepares for an IPO as US AI investment drives demand for infrastructure from companies like OpenAI and Anthropic.
Manufacturing firm Zetwerk is preparing for an initial public offering with a valuation of Rs 25,583 crore and a price band of Rs 143-151. CEO Amrit Acharya attributed the company's growing order book to a massive artificial intelligence infrastructure investment cycle in the United States, noting that model companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic are driving demand for power and computing hardware.
This growth occurs within a broader US AI market characterized by aggressive capital deployment. Nearly $200 billion in venture capital was deployed in the first half of 2026, with OpenAI and Anthropic adding nearly $100 billion in combined annual recurring revenue on a gross basis this year. To increase adoption, LLM labs are reducing costs, exemplified by OpenAI cutting the price of GPT-5 Luna by 80%.
Market analysts observe that AI adoption is maturing as it expands from enterprise coding into general organizational operations and personal assistance. While LLM labs focus on efficiency, companies like Meta and Spotify are pursuing opportunities in enterprise AI SaaS. Acharya noted that previous perceptions of India's absence from the AI supply chain had recently dampened sentiment toward the country.
