Kuwait Intercepts Iranian Missiles and Drones

Kuwaiti forces intercepted 25 Iranian missiles and drones and extinguished resulting fires on July 15, 2026, reporting material damage but no casualties.

The Kuwait Armed Forces intercepted four cruise missiles and 21 hostile unmanned aerial vehicles launched by Iran on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. The Ministry of Defence reported that the aerial aggression targeted several critical infrastructure installations across the country. Colonel Saud Al-Atwan confirmed that the military successfully neutralized the primary threats.

Concurrent with the interceptions, the Kuwait Fire Force coordinated with rapid-response units from the Kuwaiti Army and the National Guard to extinguish a blaze caused by the Iranian assault. Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Gharib of the Kuwait Fire Force stated that firefighting divisions successfully isolated and suppressed the fire.

Both military and emergency officials confirmed that the attacks resulted in material damage, but there were no casualties reported from the incidents.
