Snackverse Limited Enters Administration After Advertising Breaches

Snackverse Limited collapsed into administration on November 2 following multiple rulings from the Advertising Standards Authority regarding misleading claims and deceptive marketing.

Snackverse Limited, a United Kingdom-based monthly snack subscription service founded in 2022, entered administration on November 2, 2026. Kieran Bourne of Cromwell & Co Insolvency Practitioners was appointed as the administrator to oversee the company, which specialized in delivering themed international snack boxes to subscribers.

The collapse follows a period of intense regulatory scrutiny from the Advertising Standards Authority. In May 2026, the regulator ruled that the company made "misleading claims" regarding the contents of its snack boxes. This was followed by a second ruling on October 9, which found that the company violated promotional marketing rules by using a deceptive countdown timer for a 50% discount offer that automatically reset after expiring.

Despite warnings from the regulator, the company failed to amend its website. As of November 5, the non-compliant timer remained active on the site. The appointment of an administrator leaves the future of the business uncertain.
