LIC Appoints Shrivastava as CFO and Muthuvenkataraman as CRO

The Life Insurance Corporation of India appointed two veteran executives to key managerial positions on July 28, 2026. The Board of Directors approved the designations of Shatmanyu Shrivastava as Chief Financial Officer and Varadarajan Muthuvenkataraman as Chief Risk Officer following recommendations from the Nomination & Remuneration Committee.

Shrivastava joined the corporation in 1990 and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Prior to this appointment, he served as Executive Director of Finance & Accounts, where he managed the corporation's first account closing process following its initial public offering.

Muthuvenkataraman joined the company in 1992 and previously held the role of Additional Executive Director of Enterprise Risk Management. In his new capacity, he has been redesignated as Executive Director of Enterprise Risk Management and Chief Risk Officer.
