Apple Prepares October Launch of New Hardware Lineup

Apple Inc. is reportedly preparing a wave of hardware releases for October 2026. Leaked images discovered in company code by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris suggest the launch of a fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, a new iPad mini, and a HomePod mini available in five colors, including white, black, green, pink, and blue.

The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K is expected to maintain the external design of the 2022 model but feature significant internal upgrades. These include a transition to an A19 or A19 Pro chip and a RAM increase to 8GB or 12GB to support enhanced Siri AI capabilities. Other rumored specifications include an Apple-designed N1 networking chip for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support, as well as a revised Siri Remote.

Beyond these devices, reports indicate the company is developing a redesigned MacBook Pro, potentially branded as the MacBook Ultra, featuring an OLED touchscreen, a thinner body, and a C2 cellular modem. Apple is also rumored to be working on a smart home hub called the HomePad, which would combine a display with a built-in speaker and a new operating system. While most products are expected in October, some reports suggest the redesigned MacBook Pro could be delayed until early 2027. Apple has not officially confirmed any launch dates or specifications.
