Capital Markets Tribunal Schedules Hearings for Purpose Investments and Som Seif

The Capital Markets Tribunal began a series of merits hearings on July 9, 2026, involving the Ontario Securities Commission, Purpose Investments Inc., and Som Seif under File No. 2025-18. The proceedings are being held at the Tribunal offices located at 20 Queen Street West in Toronto, with a public videoconference option available via Zoom.

The hearing schedule has undergone several adjustments. A session originally set for July 10 at 10:00 a.m. was moved to 9:00 a.m. that same day. Subsequently, the Tribunal canceled the hearing previously scheduled for July 13, 2026.
