Google Details Pixel 11 Launch and Foldable Specs
Google announced the Pixel 11 series launch for August 12, with leaked pricing and official teaser details for the Pro Fold model.
Google scheduled the global launch of its Pixel 11 series for August 12, with the official unveiling taking place during the Made by Google event at 6 PM ET. The lineup includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. While the global release occurs on August 12, the devices will debut in India on August 13.
Retailer leaks have revealed U.S. pricing starting at $899 for the standard Pixel 11, $1,099 for the Pro, $1,299 for the Pro XL, and $1,899 for the Pro Fold. All models will utilize the Tensor G6 chipset, Titan M3 security co-processor, and Android 17. Hardware updates include a new edge-to-edge glass camera bar and a customizable LED notification strip called Pixel Glow. The standard Pixel 11 reportedly lacks a telephoto lens, a departure from the Pixel 10, and some 256GB Pro models may feature a downgraded 12GB of RAM.
An official teaser video for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold showcases an 8-inch inner folding display and a 4,800 mAh battery. The foldable device integrates Gemini AI for automated scheduling and image editing. Pricing for the Pro Fold is expected to increase by $100 over the previous generation, with a 512GB model priced at $2,019. The August 12 event is also expected to introduce the Pixel Watch 5.
