Qatar Conducts Diplomatic Meetings With Kuwait and Palestine
Qatar held separate diplomatic meetings with Kuwaiti and Palestinian officials to strengthen security cooperation and bilateral relations.
Qatar engaged in a series of diplomatic efforts across two days to strengthen regional ties. On August 26, Abdullah bin Khalaf bin Hattab Al Kaabi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior of Qatar, met with Kuwaiti Ambassador Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Shreem in Qatar. The officials reviewed existing security cooperation and discussed strategies to develop their bilateral security relationship.
Following this, Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, met with Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Aghabekian Shahin on August 27. This meeting occurred in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The two ministers reviewed bilateral relations and discussed methods to strengthen ties between the two nations.
