Israeli Forces Wound Three Palestinians in West Bank Raids
The Israel Defense Forces wounded three Palestinians and assaulted residents during a series of raids in the West Bank village of al-Mughayyir.
The Israel Defense Forces wounded three Palestinians with live fire and tear gas during military raids in the West Bank village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on July 10, 2026. According to local reports and the al-Mughayyir Village Council, the initial clashes began after Israeli settlers attempted to dismantle fences around a Palestinian family home. Residents allege that soldiers stormed the residence, beat family members, and used live ammunition and tear gas against villagers.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society treated a 60-year-old man shot in the leg, along with others injured by stun grenade shrapnel and physical assaults. In a separate operation the same day, forces raided the home of Mohammad Hamed Abu Alia, firing tear gas canisters inside the residence and causing respiratory distress and bruising among family members. Security sources added that a local resident was briefly detained and forced to dismantle a protective fence surrounding the home.
An IDF spokesperson disputed the accounts of the initial clash, stating that troops were dispatched to extinguish a bonfire lit by Israeli citizens between the villages of Jalud and Qusra. The military asserted that no property was damaged and no Israelis were present upon the troops' arrival.
