Anduril Industries Seeks Funding to Reach $60 Billion Valuation

Anduril Industries is raising up to $8 billion to fund autonomous defense projects and a new manufacturing facility in Ohio.

Defense-tech startup Anduril Industries is pursuing a multibillion-dollar funding round that could value the company at approximately $60 billion. This represents nearly double its June 2025 valuation of $30.5 billion. While some reports indicate a funding goal of $4 billion co-led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, other sources suggest the round could reach $8 billion, with participation from Lux Capital and Founders Fund.

The company intends to use the capital to finance a mass-production facility for aerial and maritime drones in Ohio and develop an autonomous fighter jet. Anduril reports that its revenue is on track to double to approximately $2 billion, driven by contracts with the United States and its allies to counter China through AI and advanced manufacturing.

Anduril has supplied large numbers of Altius drones to Ukraine. Founder Palmer Luckey claimed these systems destroyed hundreds of millions of dollars in Russian targets, although an Air Force summary noted setbacks including drone crashes and struggles against Russian electronic warfare. Anduril described these failures as "isolated examples."
