OpenAI Inc. Launches ChatGPT for Small Businesses Program

OpenAI Inc. launched the ChatGPT for Small Businesses program to provide entrepreneurs and small-business owners with generative and agentic AI tools designed to increase productivity. The company describes the technology as a "force multiplier" capable of extending individual expertise and increasing capacity for lean teams managing finance, sales, marketing, and operations.

The initiative includes virtual training sessions on ChatGPT Work and a centralized resource hub containing video tutorials and workflow guides. To facilitate the adoption of AI in physical settings, the company expanded its OpenAI Academy to include in-person Small Business AI Academies throughout the United States.

To integrate these tools into existing business workflows, OpenAI Inc. developed specialized agents and partnered with software providers including Shopify, Intuit, Dropbox, Slack, Atlassian, and Wix. The company intends to use feedback from this specific user segment to inform future product development.
