Boeing and Polish Firms Sign Apache Support Agreements

Boeing and two Polish defense firms signed agreements to establish maintenance and ground support infrastructure for Poland's fleet of 96 AH-64E Apache helicopters.

Boeing and two Polish defense companies signed offset implementation agreements to establish long-term industrial cooperation for the sustainment of Poland's AH-64E Apache helicopter fleet. The agreements, signed at a facility in Łódź, focus on maintenance, repair, overhaul, and ground support to ensure the operational readiness of the Polish Armed Forces.

Under the terms of the deal, Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 1 S.A. (WZL-1) will provide primary maintenance and repair services. Simultaneously, Boeing and the Military Central Bureau of Design and Technology S.A. (WCKBT) will evaluate Polish-engineered ground support equipment for integration with the fleet. This initiative aims to build a domestic industrial framework and workforce to support sovereign defense capabilities.

Poland has contracted for 96 AH-64E Apache helicopters, a procurement that will make the country the second-largest operator of the platform globally, trailing only the United States.
