Pratt & Whitney Invests $25 Million to Expand Polish Facility

Pratt & Whitney is investing $25 million (PLN 95 million) to expand its precision parts manufacturing facility in Niepołomice, Poland. The expansion focuses on the production of complex tubular assemblies for commercial and military engines, specifically the GTF, PW800, and F135 models. The site is expected to be fully operational by 2028 and will create more than 120 new jobs.

This project is supported by the Polish government through the Polish Investment Zone Programme. The expansion follows a separate $100 million investment in the company's Rzeszow facilities to increase production capacity for forged parts. Together, these initiatives represent a $125 million commitment to Polish facilities this year.

Poland currently serves as the largest investment and employee base for RTX, the parent company of Pratt & Whitney, outside the United States. The company employs over 9,500 people in the country across its Raytheon, Collins Aerospace, and Pratt & Whitney businesses.
