SpaceX Targets $1 Trillion Revenue Run Rate by 2027

Elon Musk announced SpaceX aims for a $1 trillion annualized revenue run rate by December 2027 by expanding its AI infrastructure capacity.

Elon Musk announced during a third-quarter earnings call that Space Exploration Technologies Corp. aims to reach a $1 trillion annualized revenue run rate by December 2027. This target depends on the company's transition into an artificial intelligence infrastructure provider, a sector that already accounts for 52% of total sales.

In the third quarter, the company generated $14.6 billion in total revenue, with $7.6 billion coming from its Super Intelligence division. To support the growth target, Musk plans to expand AI computing capacity from 1.7 GW to between 12.5 and 13 GW by the end of 2027, though he mentioned a more ambitious goal of adding 20 GW.

Reaching the $1 trillion run rate would require quarterly revenue of $250 billion by late 2027. This objective necessitates a significant increase in AI revenue productivity and a tripling of current revenue from the company's Starlink and Space businesses.
