Newgen Software Reports 11% Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27
Newgen Software Technologies reported an 11% year-on-year revenue increase for Q1 FY27 despite a sharp sequential decline in net profit.
Newgen Software Technologies Ltd reported its Q1 FY27 financial results on July 16, 2026, showing mixed performance characterized by annual growth and sequential declines. The company's revenue rose 11.2% year-over-year to Rs 357 crore, while profit after tax increased 26% annually to approximately Rs 63 crore. Despite these annual gains, the firm experienced a sharp sequential drop, with net profit falling 40.9% and revenue decreasing 21.2% compared to the previous quarter.
Growth was driven by the Americas region, which saw a 27% annual increase. Newgen added 10 new enterprise customers and secured strategic contracts in the UK, the Philippines, and Kuwait. In India, the company obtained a Rs 15.6 crore order from Annapurna Finance Private Limited for an AI-enabled Loan Origination and Collections System. Following the results, shares on the National Stock Exchange closed down 2.99% at Rs 541.
In a separate industry development, the B2B grocery delivery platform Doorvery reported an annual recurring revenue of Rs 51.12 crore for the same quarter, claiming profitability since its first day of operations and month-on-month revenue growth between 30% and 40%.
