MP Fadiel Adams Testifies Before Madlanga Commission

Member of Parliament Fadiel Adams is scheduled to testify before the Madlanga commission on Tuesday to clarify allegations he made regarding the misuse of secret funds and the irregular appointment of Brigadier Dineo Mokwele within crime intelligence.

These allegations previously led to the arrest of Lieutenant-General Dumisani Khumalo and other senior officials. However, charges against those officials were later withdrawn after testimony indicated that former head advocate Andrea Johnson had "orchestrated the attack" and failed to follow proper legal procedures.

The commission is now investigating the motivations behind Adams' claims. Specifically, the inquiry seeks to determine if Adams acted as an independent whistleblower, was manipulated by the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption, or is linked to criminal syndicates and officials such as Major-General Feroz Khan to shield them from parliamentary processes.
