Krispy Kreme Launches Pokémon Doughnut Collection for 30th Anniversary

Krispy Kreme partnered with The Pokémon Company International to launch a limited-edition doughnut collection celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. The collection becomes available on August 18 in the United States and Canada, with the Canadian rollout scheduled to run through September 13, 2026.

The menu features six designs based on the Poké Ball and iconic Pokémon including Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Jigglypuff. Flavors include cotton candy buttercream and lemon-flavored Kreme. While most reports list these six designs, some sources indicate that two mystery doughnuts will be released on September 7. Customers can purchase the treats individually, in a Specialty Dozen Pack with a limited-edition box, or in six-packs at retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, and Publix.

Additional promotional offerings include limited-edition cups featuring Pokémon characters, which in Canada will be paired with Original Glazed Doughnut Dots for 10 CAD. To encourage fan engagement, the company will provide a free Original Glazed doughnut to customers wearing Pokémon merchandise at participating locations on Saturday, August 22. Pre-orders are currently available through the Krispy Kreme website and mobile app.
