Xbox announced two limited edition controllers and a charging dock to commemorate the October 6, 2026, release of Gears of War: E-Day. The first is a $89.99 wireless controller featuring 3D-molded, laser-etched cracked asphalt and red accents inspired by the game's E-holes, which is available for pre-order now.
A second customizable gamepad featuring artwork by illustrator Luke Preece will be available through Xbox Design Lab starting September 30. Additionally, 8BitDo is releasing an officially licensed themed charging dock for $39.99.
Both controllers will be displayed at Gamescom on August 25, where the game's campaign will also make its playable debut. Gears of War: E-Day will launch exclusively for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass, marking a shift back toward console exclusivity for Microsoft.
