Pakistan Security Forces Kill 18 Militants in Balochistan Raids

The Military of Pakistan killed 18 militants affiliated with the group Fitna al-Hindustan during a series of raids in Balochistan on September 18 and 19, 2026. The operations, conducted under the campaign known as Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, targeted multiple districts to eliminate militant threats and seize weaponry.

On September 18, security forces killed seven terrorists in two separate actions. Five members of Fitna al-Hindustan were killed in the Fateh Ali area of Panjgur, while two others were killed and several wounded during an intelligence-based operation in the Dhadhar area of Kachhi district.

The campaign intensified on September 19, with forces killing an additional 11 militants. Five were killed in the Gwargo area of Panjgur, and six others were killed during operations in the Aminabad and Siyah Chang areas of Chagai. Security forces recovered significant caches of arms and explosive materials from these sites.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the professional capabilities of the personnel, stating the operations thwarted militant plans. The Government of Pakistan has designated all terrorist groups in Balochistan as Fitna al-Hindustan, alleging that India sponsors these outfits to wage a proxy war in the region. Naqvi affirmed that operations against Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij will continue.
