Elbit Systems Reports 850,000 Intelligence Targets Identified
Elbit Systems disclosed that its Tzayad digital army programme identified 850,000 real-time intelligence targets between October 2023 and late 2025.
Elbit Systems, Israel's largest arms supplier, disclosed at a military conference in London that its Tzayad digital army programme identified approximately 850,000 real-time intelligence targets between October 7, 2023, and the end of 2025. The presentation took place at a Royal United Services Institute event attended by senior British military officials.
Miki Edelstein, an Elbit executive vice-president and IDF reservist major general, stated the system identified about 1,000 potential targets daily, including people, vehicles, and objects. Edelstein noted the technology reduced external fire support response times from 40-50 minutes to between one and seven minutes. An Elbit spokesperson later contested these figures, claiming the data reflected aggregated system activity rather than specific targets.
Former US Pentagon adviser Wes Bryant analyzed the disclosure, arguing that the volume of targets suggests the Israel Defense Forces may have targeted up to or over half the population and infrastructure of Gaza. Bryant stated that the scale of the operation makes it nearly impossible for each target to undergo effective collateral damage analysis and civilian risk assessment.
