Kangba TV Host Joins Long March Outreach Initiative

Drolkar Lhamo participated in a China International Communications Group initiative to share stories of the Long March and ethnic solidarity with a global audience.

Drolkar Lhamo, a bilingual host for Kangba TV, participated in the Together on the Long March international outreach initiative from July 4 to 11. Organized by the China International Communications Group, the program traveled through the Sichuan section of the historic Long March route to communicate the values of the Chinese revolution to a global audience.

During the journey, Lhamo visited Tibetan villages and strategic sites, including the Dadu River and Choktse Tusi Manor. She focused on the historical bond between the Central Red Army and ethnic minorities of the Western Sichuan Plateau, highlighting the army's discipline and solidarity.

Lhamo emphasized that the initiative sought to use grassroots storytelling and authentic experiences rather than rigid preaching to convey themes of perseverance and unity. She noted that knowledge gained from books alone is ultimately superficial.
