FedEx Beats Quarterly Estimates and Raises Full-Year Outlook
FedEx reported quarterly revenue and earnings that exceeded Wall Street expectations and raised its full-year financial outlook following strong U.S. express segment results.
FedEx Corporate Services Inc reported quarterly earnings for the period ending September 30 that surpassed Wall Street forecasts for both revenue and earnings per share. The company posted adjusted earnings per share of $3.74, beating the expected $3.36, and revenue of $22.86 billion against a $22.42 billion forecast.
This report follows a realignment of the company's fiscal year to end on December 31 and the spin-out of FedEx Freight into a separate public company. Driven by strong operating results in its express U.S. segment, the company increased its 2026 revenue growth expectation to approximately 12% and raised its full-year adjusted earnings per share outlook to a range between $18 and $18.60.
CEO Raj Subramaniam attributed the improved outlook to network optimization and success in high-value market segments. In a leadership change, the company appointed former AutoZone executive Jamere Jackson as the new chief financial officer, effective November 30.
