Trump Media Transfers $343 Million in Bitcoin Amid Debt Deadline
Trump Media & Technology Group moved over 4,200 Bitcoin to a Crypto.com address as it faces a $1 billion debt repayment deadline.
Trump Media & Technology Group transferred 4,259.34 Bitcoin, valued between $326 million and $343.67 million, to a Crypto.com-linked address on November 5, 2026. The assets were moved from wallets previously designated as collateral for the company's 2028 convertible notes.
This transfer comes as the company approaches a November 30 deadline, when noteholders may demand cash repayments totaling approximately $1 billion. In a November 2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company warned it might sell Bitcoin or other digital assets if refinancing or equity financing is insufficient to meet these obligations.
Blockchain data indicates the coins moved to Crypto.com and then to an unidentified wallet, though the company has not confirmed a sale. Trump Media previously characterized similar transfers in May and August 2026 as custody management and trading strategy. Meanwhile, Democrats who won control of Congress in the November 3 midterms plan to investigate Trump family business dealings and cryptocurrency interests starting in January.
