Stellantis and Aston Martin Report Mixed Third-Quarter Results

Stellantis reported earnings growth amid cash outflows, while Aston Martin increased revenues and narrowed losses driven by Valhalla supercar orders.

European automakers reported divergent third-quarter results on October 28, with one focusing on cost efficiencies and the other on luxury growth.

Stellantis reported adjusted earnings before interest and taxes of €256 million, an increase from €90 million in the previous year. While revenues remained stable at €37.6 billion, the company faced a €4 billion industrial cash outflow and a 3% revenue decline in North America. CEO Antonio Filosa is executing a Value Creation Program targeting €6 billion in run-rate efficiencies, with 40% of those savings expected by the end of 2026. The company maintained its 2026 forecasts and aims for positive cash flow by 2027, while planning a new business strategy for Maserati to be unveiled on December 10.

Meanwhile, Aston Martin saw third-quarter revenues rise 36% to £389 million, narrowing its pre-tax loss to £77 million from £112 million a year prior. This growth was driven by the Valhalla supercar, which increased average selling prices by 25% this year. The company has delivered 350 units through September and expects to reach 500 by year-end. Despite these gains, the carmaker noted risks from Middle East conflict, potential United States tariffs, and luxury car tax changes in China.
