Iran Demands End to Yemen Blockade and Resumption of Dialogue

The Foreign Ministry of Iran issued a statement asserting that the conflict in Yemen cannot be resolved through military alliances or the continued blockade of the country. The ministry demanded an immediate end to what it described as an "illegal and inhumane blockade," arguing that regional security in West Asia and the Red Sea depends on respecting the rights and dignity of the Yemeni people.

Iran called for the immediate resumption of dialogue based on an agreed roadmap and offered to provide its good offices to facilitate the implementation of those peace talks. The ministry further urged the Muslim world to prioritize its own interests in response to Israeli aggression and expansionism in West Asia, which Iran claims is supported by the United States.
