Tata Consultancy Services Acquires MHP from Porsche for 320 Million Euros

Tata Consultancy Services acquired Porsche's consulting unit MHP and signed a 1.25 billion euro AI partnership to transform the automaker's operations.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has acquired MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH, a Germany-based automotive and industrial consulting subsidiary of Porsche AG, for an enterprise value of 320 million euros. The deal includes the transfer of 4,500 employees and is expected to close within three to four months pending regulatory approvals.

Concurrent with the acquisition, Porsche signed a five-year strategic partnership with TCS valued at 1.25 billion euros. This agreement focuses on deploying artificial intelligence across Porsche's manufacturing, engineering, operations, and customer experience functions. To support these goals, TCS will establish a dedicated AI Mobility Centre of Excellence to develop software-defined mobility platforms.

Porsche CEO Michael Leiters stated the sale of MHP is part of a strategy to focus on the automaker's core business. For TCS, the acquisition of MHP, which reported a 2025 turnover of 742 million euros, expands its European footprint and strengthens its AI transformation agenda.
