Azerbaijan Doubles Petroleum Product Export Value in 2026
The Government of Azerbaijan increased petroleum product export volumes by 40.7 percent and doubled export value between January and August 2026.
The Government of Azerbaijan significantly expanded its petroleum product exports from January to August 2026. Data from the State Customs Committee shows the country exported 617,360.36 tons of petroleum products, totaling 466.75 million USD in value.
These figures represent a twofold increase in value and a 40.7 percent increase in volume compared to the same period in 2025. The exported products are processed at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, which currently satisfies all domestic demand while undergoing reconstruction and modernization.
Azerbaijan's export geography for these refined products includes Armenia.
