Nokia Insiders Buy Shares Following Nvidia AI Partnership

Nokia executives and board members purchased tens of thousands of shares following a strategic pivot toward AI and a $1 billion investment from Nvidia.

Nokia Corporation executives and board members have accumulated tens of thousands of shares in the company following a strategic pivot toward artificial intelligence. Recent purchases were made by Chief of Staff Victoria Hanrahan, board member Timo Ihamuotila, and senior managers Patrik Hammarén and Pallavi Mahajan.

This insider activity follows a strategic partnership established in October 2025, during which Nvidia Corporation made a $1 billion equity investment in Nokia Corporation to develop an AI platform for 6G. The collaboration integrates Nvidia Corporation's AI hardware and Spectrum X Ethernet platform with Nokia Corporation's radio access network portfolio and SR Linux software.

To implement these technologies, Nokia Corporation is rearchitecting base stations around Nvidia Corporation silicon and has established an AI RAN center in Dallas. T-Mobile U.S. has agreed to trial these AI RAN designs in its networks starting in 2026.
