The Bexar County Democratic Party held a demonstration on Houston Street from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., which organizers described as peaceful. Simultaneously, the San Antonio chapter of the Party for Socialism and Liberation began a protest at 5 p.m. near Houston Street and Coca-Cola Place, located immediately outside the coliseum area.
