Qatar Praises Hamas Acceptance of Gaza Ceasefire Roadmap

Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, met with Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Khalil Al-Hayya and other movement leaders in Doha on Wednesday. The officials reviewed current developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.

During the meeting, Al-Thani praised the decision by Hamas to accept the roadmap for completing the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. He stated his hope that this move would end Palestinian suffering and establish security and stability in the region.

Al-Thani called on the international community to pressure Israel to fulfill its obligations under the agreement. He specifically urged the cessation of violations of Palestinian rights to ensure the successful completion of the roadmap.
