California Bank & Trust Appoints Michael MacDonald as President

California Bank & Trust, a division of Zions Bancorporation, appointed Michael MacDonald as President on October 26, 2026. Reporting to CEO Eric Ellingsen, MacDonald will oversee the bank's Commercial, Corporate, and Specialty Industry banking divisions.

MacDonald will maintain his current leadership of Zions Capital Markets and continue serving on the Executive Management Committee of Zions Bancorporation. The appointment is designed to integrate regional relationship banking with institutional-scale capital solutions to accelerate growth for clients across California.
