Türkiye and Azerbaijan signed a series of defense agreements valued at more than $500 million during the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition 2026 in Baku. Aselsan signed a memorandum of understanding for ALP-100 radar systems and a preliminary agreement with NOVASIS to construct a factory in Nakhchivan. Görgün stated that the deals aim to deepen joint production and technological cooperation, with aircraft deliveries expected to begin this year.
