Tata Sons Chairman Predicts Unparalleled Economic Growth for India

N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, stated that India is entering a period of economic growth that could be unparalleled in its own history and globally. Speaking at the Sai University convocation in Chennai, he predicted this trend will continue for several decades.

Chandrasekaran addressed the impact of artificial intelligence, technology, and regulatory changes on the global economy. While acknowledging concerns over job losses, he argued that these disruptions are creating new sectors and opportunities, predicting that entirely new industries will emerge within five years.

He advised graduates to adopt a mindset of running dual races by balancing short-term achievements with long-term goals. To succeed in this evolving landscape, he emphasized the importance of curiosity, collective work, self-reflection, ambitious goal-setting, creativity, and continuous learning.
