Binance Plans Expansion Into Global Stock Markets

Binance is diversifying its platform to offer exposure to stocks from Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Brazil to attract institutional investors.

Binance is considering an expansion of its trading platform to include exposure to stocks from markets in Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Brazil. Co-CEO Richard Teng announced the strategy during the TOKEN2049 event in Singapore, explaining that the company is "weatherproofing" itself by diversifying beyond digital assets into an all-in-one trading platform.

This shift follows a decline in cryptocurrency prices and aligns with a broader industry trend. Competitors such as Coinbase and OKX have similarly integrated traditional asset classes to attract retail users in emerging markets and sophisticated institutional investors. Earlier in 2026, Binance introduced commodity derivatives and tokenized U.S. stocks.

In addition to the market expansion, the exchange plans to launch Binance AI Pro later this month. This AI-powered assistant is designed to automate strategy execution and market analysis for its users.
