SK Hynix and Sandisk Report Record AI-Driven Revenue
SK Hynix and Sandisk report record revenues and long-term growth projections driven by intense AI data center demand for memory and storage.
SK Hynix and Sandisk are experiencing a memory and storage supercycle fueled by high demand from hyperscalers and AI data center operators. SK Hynix reported record third-quarter revenue of 104.6 trillion South Korean won, approximately $78 billion, with operating profit reaching 83.3 trillion won. Company leadership expects demand to outpace supply through 2030 and has already secured 14 long-term agreements covering half of its production capacity for 2027 and 2028.
Sandisk, which spun off from Western Digital Inc. in February 2025, reported fiscal 2027 first-quarter revenue of $11 billion, marking a 378 percent increase year over year. The company has secured long-term sales agreements with hyperscalers extending through 2030. To increase share accessibility, Sandisk announced an 8-for-1 stock split effective November 19.
