Palantir U.S. Commercial Revenue Set to Surpass Government Sales
Palantir Technologies expects its U.S. commercial revenue to overtake its government revenue in the third quarter of 2026 following a 149 percent year-over-year growth surge.
Palantir Technologies is approaching a financial milestone as its U.S. commercial revenue is projected to surpass its U.S. government revenue in the third quarter of 2026. In the second quarter of 2026, the company reported U.S. commercial revenue of $764 million, representing a 149 percent year-over-year increase, while U.S. government revenue reached $809 million, growing 90 percent over the same period.
Based on these sequential growth rates, management has raised full-year 2026 U.S. commercial revenue guidance to over $3.424 billion. The company also increased its adjusted free cash flow outlook to a range between $4.5 billion and $4.7 billion.
CEO Alex Karp attributes the rapid commercial expansion to customer demand for "AI sovereignty," a trend where clients seek greater control over their own data and operations.
