Anthropic Expands Claude for Startups Program at SF Tech Week
Anthropic expanded its Claude for Startups program to provide qualifying companies with free plan seats and API credits to encourage AI-driven development.
Anthropic expanded its Claude for Startups program on Tuesday during an SF Tech Week event in San Francisco. The initiative provides subsidized access to AI models for qualifying companies, specifically those founded within the last five years or those that received funding within the last two years.
Eligible startups receive one free year of the Claude Team paid plan for up to five premium seats and $1,000 in API credits. The program also grants participants access to the Claude Marketplace for plug-in development and virtual office hours with the company's Applied AI team.
Anthropic stated the program supports founders and developers because the company believes the benefits of AI reach most people through the companies building on top of models rather than through the models alone.
