The Accord Party secured a victory in the Ife Central Local Government Area during the Osun governorship election, giving Governor Ademola Adeleke a significant lead.

The Accord Party won the Ife Central Local Government Area in the Osun governorship election, securing 21,171 votes against 15,913 for the All Progressives Congress. The result, announced Saturday night at the Ife Central LGA collation centre, provides a significant advantage for incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke over the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.

Of the 39,990 accredited voters in the local government area, 38,380 votes were declared valid. While voter turnout varied across the state's 30 local government areas, reports indicated several instances of vote trading at polling units.

The Independent National Electoral Commission is currently overseeing the process. Results from all local government areas are being reviewed at the central collation center in Osogbo before final ratification.
