Petrobras Reports Record Oil Production and Colombian Gas Find
Petrobras S.A. achieved record second-quarter oil production and confirmed a third gas discovery at the Sandia-1 well in Colombia.
Petrobras S.A. reported record-breaking oil production for the second quarter of 2026, averaging 3.34 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. This represents a 14.1% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The company also reached an all-time high in refinery utilization at 101.2%, which led to record quarterly output for jet fuel and diesel S10.
In a strategic expansion outside Brazilian waters, the company and Ecopetrol S.A. confirmed a third gas find at the Sandia-1 well off the Caribbean coast of Colombia on August 3, 2026.
Financial results are scheduled for release after the São Paulo market close on August 6, 2026. Analysts project ordinary dividends of approximately US$3 billion and an adjusted EBITDA between US$17 billion and US$19 billion.
