Indian Parliamentary Delegation Meets Tanzanian Speaker in Arusha

Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh met with Tanzania National Assembly Speaker Mussa Azzan Zungu on Tuesday in Arusha, Tanzania. The bilateral meeting took place on the sidelines of the 153rd International Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly.
The leaders focused on deepening parliamentary cooperation, capacity building, and skill development between India and Tanzania. Harivansh is leading an Indian parliamentary delegation composed of members from both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to participate in the assembly, which centers on enhancing good governance and empowering communities through inclusivity, trust, and opportunities.
As part of the IPU Assembly, the Indian delegation will participate in workshops and debates on global challenges. These discussions will cover counter-terrorism, artificial intelligence, climate change, and maritime security to articulate India's perspectives on the international stage.
