MSI Debuts World's First Inkjet-Printed OLED Professional Monitor
Micro-Star International and TCL CSOT unveiled the PRO MAX OLED 271UPJW12, the first 27-inch 4K 120Hz professional monitor using inkjet-printed OLED technology.
During ChinaJoy 2026 in Shanghai, Micro-Star International and TCL China Star Optoelectronic Technology unveiled the PRO MAX OLED 271UPJW12, the first 27-inch 4K 120Hz inkjet-printed (IJP) OLED professional desktop monitor. The display replaces conventional Fine Metal Mask evaporation with inkjet printing, a transition that aims to lower manufacturing costs and increase yields while allowing for a vertical RGB stripe pixel arrangement to eliminate color fringing and improve text clarity.
The monitor is designed for professional productivity and Mac users, featuring a KVM switch to control up to three devices, an advanced anti-glare coating, and synchronization via the M-Mate app. Technical specifications include 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. To mitigate burn-in, the device employs MSI's OLED Auto Care technology with real-time Data Counting Compensation that operates in the background.
This launch marks the first entry of TCL CSOT into the mid-size consumer IJP OLED segment, moving technology previously reserved for medical applications into the professional and entertainment markets. The monitor is Eyesafe 3.0 certified and meets Circadian Protection Factor standards for visual health. While the hardware was showcased alongside other 2026 gaming gear, MSI has not yet disclosed pricing or availability.
