Air Corsica Contracts StandardAero for A320neo Engine Maintenance
Air Corsica selected StandardAero to provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the LEAP-1A engines powering its Airbus A320neo fleet.
Air Corsica has contracted StandardAero to provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the CFM International LEAP-1A engines used in its Airbus A320neo fleet. The agreement expands a partnership established in 2023, when StandardAero began supporting the airline's ATR regional turboprops and ATR 72-600 fleet.
Under the new terms, the airline will utilize StandardAero's 810,000-square-foot facility in San Antonio, Texas. The scope of work includes performance restoration shop visits, quick-turn shop visits, component repairs, short-term engine leases, and engine health monitoring data analysis.
StandardAero has operated as a CFM LEAP Premier MRO provider, offering quick-turn services since March 2024 and completing its first LEAP test cell correlation in November 2024. Technical Director Jean Luc Moine described the extension as a logical progression of the long-standing relationship as the airline modernizes its fleet.
