Muthoot Fincorp Ltd, a diversified Non-Banking Financial Company and part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group, filed draft papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India on Wednesday to launch an Initial Public Offering. The company seeks to raise 3,000 crore through a fresh issue of equity shares with a face value of 2 per share, with plans to list on the BSE and National Stock Exchange.

The company intends to use the IPO proceeds to augment its Tier-I capital base, which will support onward lending and general business expansion. This move follows a period of rapid financial growth; consolidated profit for the firm rose to 1,847.62 crore in FY26, up from 607.90 crore in FY25.

As of March 31, 2026, the firm managed assets totaling 73,444.72 crore. These operations are conducted through its digital platform, Muthoot FinCorp ONE, and a network of 5,610 branches. The company's gold loan branch network, which included 3,781 branches at the end of March 2026, serves as its primary engine for customer acquisition and collateral handling.
